Dr Barbara Wilkinson studied medicine in Germany before falling in love with the beautiful Lake District and moving to the UK permanently. She completed her postgraduate training in Liverpool, Manchester as well as in the South Lakes and joined St Mary's Surgery in 2012. In collaboration with Sally Riley, she specialises in seeing people with respiratory (lung) problems. She also teaches medical students at Lancaster University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
