Flu and Covid Campaign 2023/24

 

Here at St Mary's Surgery, we will be administering the Flu and Covid vaccination in the same appointment.

If you are eligible, we will be contacting you by text message or with a phone call.

Please be aware the government guidance has been updated and all 50-64 year olds (not in an at risk group) are no longer eligible for a free NHS flu/Covid jab.

Who is at risk?

  • If you are aged 65 years or over or if you are on regular inhaled steroids
  • If you have chronic heart disease
  • If you have chronic renal disease
  • If you are diabetic
  • If you are pregnant
  • If you have a BMI over 40
  • If you have a weak immune system (immunosuppressed)
  • If you live in a long-stay residential or nursing home
  • If you have chronic liver disease
  • If you are a carer
  • If you work in health or social care

If you have a long-term condition which isn’t covered in the list above, please contact the surgery as you may still be eligible for the vaccination.

  • Saturday 7th October – Over 65 – Windermere
  • Tuesday 17th October – Over 65 – Windermere
  • Thursday 19th October – Over 65 – Windermere
  • Tuesday 24th October – Under 65 – Windermere
  • Wednesday 25th October – Over 65 – Staveley
  • Saturday 28th October – Under 65 – Windermere
  • Tuesday 31st October – Over 65 – Windermere
  • Wednesday 1st November – Under 65 – Staveley
  • Tuesday 7th November – Over 65 – Windermere
  • Wednesday 8th November – Over 65 – Staveley
  • Thursday 9th November – Under 65 – Staveley
